For this project, my team and I proposed Menu Monkey, a solution designed to make dining out safer and less stressful for individuals with food allergies and dietary restrictions. Through user interviews, testimonials, and market research, we uncovered major pain points: menu transparency, difficulty locating safe restaurants, and the emotional burden of navigating unclear ingredients. Our concept provides clear, filterable ingredient information for menu items and enables direct communication with restaurants, empowering users to feel informed, confident, and included in social dining experiences. By combining user-centered research with strategic market analysis and early product modeling, we created a compelling vision for a scalable platform that addresses a rapidly growing need in the food and wellness space.
